About Us

For the broken and the disillusioned.

For the faithful and the faith-weary.

For the hurting and the healing.

For the found and the seeking.

For the churched and the churchless.

For getting back to the heart of worship.

For the only One worthy of praise.

For on earth as it is in heaven.

For the abiding.

Our Purpose

The Abiding Collective exists to equip worship leaders, cultivate discipleship, foster community, and build unity amongst local churches.

We want to create the kind of space and margin that we don’t always find on a Sunday morning… an atmosphere of authentic worship without the need to perform or produce or stay within the confines of a planning center service order. A place where we can sit at His feet (and learn how to be comfortable with that). A place for those who have poured out faithfully to come and be filled.

We believe there’s a deep need for worship leaders and creatives with an authentic heart for worship. Yet, there’s often a gap between that desire and the fulfillment of it… a gap full of necessary distractions: rehearsals, schedules, special services, childcare, and the endless rhythm of ministry.

We want to stand with you in that gap and go after God… together.

Our aim is not to replace or “do better” than our respective churches, but to simply come alongside. To be an addition, not a replacement.

Our Heart

God cares about the authenticity of your worship in private and in public.

Too often, worship teams get used and burned out in the name of helping others encounter God.

But God doesn’t see you as pawns in a system ranked by the level of your gifting.

He looks for your heart.

He’s not impressed by your talent or your usefulness… He desires your abiding.

We aren’t searching for perfection.

Not perfect talent or execution.

Not a perfect spiritual walk.

But we are collectively going after purity.

Pure Worship

Pure worship is not content creation.

Pure worship is not hype.

Pure worship is not performance.

Pure worship is imperfect.

Pure worship is access.

Pure worship is vulnerable.

Pure worship is authentic.

Pure worship is true.

Pure worship is sacrificial.

Pure worship is our calling.

Pure worship is our desire.

Pure worship is to bless the heart of God.

Pure worship is worth fighting for.

The Invitation

With The Abiding Collective, our hope is to cultivate atmospheres for those who have poured out to be filled,

for hearts of worship to have the space, safety, and margin to be cultivated,

to dive deeper into the presence of God,

and to gather as the body of Christ, across churches, faith walks, and denominations,

uniting under one name: Jesus, and representing only one kingdom: His.

If you’d like to be a part of the collective, part of a worship night, if you know of spaces we can use to host these worship nights — or simply just want to get in touch with us, we’d love to connect.

Our Rhythm

No live streams.

No production pressure.

Let’s make room for stillness.

Let’s find our footing in rootedness.

It might feel vulnerable. It might get uncomfortable.

This is uncharted territory — and that’s okay.

We’re not chasing a moment.

We’re learning to abide.

Mary & Martha

Many of us have been shaped to live like Martha — doing, striving, achieving — and praised for it.

But Mary chose the better thing: to sit at Jesus’ feet.

These nights are about being like Mary.

Setting aside the doing to simply be with Him.

To behold.

To rest.

To abide.

Everything else can wait.

Scripture Foundation

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser…

Abide in me, and I in you.

As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.”— John 15:1–9 (ESV)

Our only agenda is to abide.
